
AP CM Chandrababu To Visit Delhi Today
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will visit the national capital New Delhi on Monday. The visit, aimed at securing the state’s interests, will include meetings with several Union ministers and participation in the prestigious CII Business Summit . Discussions are expected to focus on key development projects, release of funds, and pending commitments related to the Andhra Pradesh bifurcation.
According to the scheduled itinerary, the Chief Minister will travel directly from Hyderabad to Delhi on Monday morning. As part of the visit, he will first meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah . The discussions are likely to cover important political and administrative matters related to the state, along with Andhra Pradesh’s financial situation.
Later, Chandrababu Naidu will meet Union Jal Shakti Minister C.R. Patil . The meeting is expected to focus extensively on the progress of the Polavaram Project , release of funds based on revised cost estimates, and Central assistance for other irrigation projects in the state.
At around 3 pm, the Chief Minister will meet a delegation of World Bank representatives. The discussions are expected to cover ongoing development works in the state, infrastructure expansion, World Bank participation in various projects, and future investment opportunities.
Following this, at 4 pm, Chandrababu Naidu will participate in the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Business Summit . Addressing industrial leaders at the summit, he is expected to outline the steps being taken by the Andhra Pradesh government to transform the state into an attractive investment destination.
Minister Nimmala Ramanaidu , Chief Secretary Sai Prasad , and several senior officials will accompany the Chief Minister during the visit.
Towards the end of the tour, the Chief Minister is scheduled to meet members of NITI Aayog as well as S. Mahendra Dev , Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Economic Advisory Council . The discussions will focus on economic strategies and policy decisions required for the reconstruction and development of Andhra Pradesh.
The visit is also aimed at further strengthening relations with the Centre after the change in government and securing maximum benefits for the state.
